Laager 15 Celebrates Five Years at Ganzekraal Coastal Resort

Laager 15’s special AGM and fifth-birthday celebration at Ganzekraal Coastal Resort was a weekend to remember. With 13 plots booked, members gathered on Friday evening around a crackling fire, sharing a traditional pot of soup and enjoying music that set the tone for a warm, communal atmosphere.

Saturday brought serene ocean views, a smooth AGM session, and the welcoming of the new 2026/2027 committee. The festivities continued with a vibrant birthday celebration, complete with beautifully decorated cakes and an impressive bring‑and‑share feast that catered for around 40 people.

Sunday’s indaba closed the weekend on a high note, with praise and worship, the presentation of the Barry Award to Tony for his dedication, and generous donations toward the 2027 charity target. The event highlighted the spirit of unity, joy, and giving that defines Laager 15, leaving members excited for the next Outspan at Kliprivier, Tulbagh.
