Laager 21 AGM Outspan at Leentjiesklip

The Laager 21 AGM Outspan at Leentjiesklip, held from 22–24 May 2026, was a weekend of camaraderie and celebration. Blessed with perfect winter weather on the West Coast, members gathered around campfires on Friday evening to share soup, soetes, and stories.

Saturday offered a mix of activities, from adventurous hikes and casino visits to relaxed breakfasts and shopping trips. The afternoon AGM ran smoothly, with members reaffirming their confidence in the committee. Breaking tradition, the club treated everyone to cake and tea, followed by a lively braai pie feast that showcased both savory and sweet creations. The evening concluded around the geselsvuur, strengthening bonds of friendship.

Sunday’s indaba brought another beautiful day, with praise, prayer, and reflection before members packed up—though a few lucky campers stayed on to enjoy the week. The gathering was marked by laughter, fun fines, and heartfelt moments, embodying the spirit of Laager 21. Members now look forward to upcoming outspans at Kliprivier, Ganzekraal, and AltydWater, continuing the tradition of joyful camping and community.
