Laager 15 - A Festive Weekend of Togetherness at De Hollandsche Molen

The De Hollandsche Molen Christmas weekend, held from 28 to 30 November 2025, was a beautiful celebration of community, connection, and festive spirit. Members arrived on Friday to settle in and unwind, gathering around a cozy campfire to celebrate Jonathan’s birthday with delicious carrot cake, spicy koek­sisters, and warm coffee—setting the tone for a relaxed and joyful weekend.

Saturday was filled with excitement and preparation for the much-anticipated Christmas luncheon. Tables were carefully set, meals lovingly prepared by members, and laughter filled the air as Father Christmas made a special appearance, delighting the children with surprise gifts and unforgettable smiles. As the day unfolded, everyone came together to enjoy a generous feast, showcasing the true spirit of sharing and togetherness.

The celebrations continued into the evening, where members reunited around a glowing fire after the Springbok game, sharing stories, drinks, and laughter late into the night—strengthening the bonds that make the Trekkers community so special.

Sunday marked a gentle farewell, with refreshed departures and hearts full of gratitude.
